RIVERTON — A woman was trampled to death by her horses here Saturday afternoon.
The woman, 46, was watering her horses just after 2:30 p.m. near 13200 South and 1100 West when the animals became spooked for an unknown reason, according to the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office.
The horses took off and trampled the woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
