DALLAS — Clint Dolezel became the first Arena Football League quarterback to reach 900 career touchdown passes, throwing a season-high eight to lift the Dallas Desperados to a 65-54 win over the Grand Rapids Rampage on Saturday night.

Dolezel was 25-of-35 for 321 yards, and Marcus Nash led the Desperados (9-1) in receiving with nine catches for 145 yards and six touchdowns. Dallas is tied with Philadelphia for the best record in the league and the Desperados have won 17 consecutive home games. Dolezel has 901 TD passes in his career.

James MacPherson threw seven TD passes and Kenny Higgins had 13 catches for 195 yards and three touchdowns for Grand Rapids (3-7).

Chris Johnson added nine catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns.
