Christians are baptized at their free choice and with their consent — or the consent of parents in the case of babies. John the Baptist and Jesus did not baptize anyone against their will. To rebaptize dead people without their consent may not matter to Peter Brooks (Readers' Forum, May 8), but it is offensive to most non-LDS Christians and revolting to Jews, Muslims and non-Christians. Please, sign me up on the "not-to-be-rebaptized" list.
