Dennis Lee Seager

1946 ~ 2008

Beloved husband, father, grandpa, and brother passed away May 9, 2008 in Alpine, Utah.Born in Salt Lake City on September 1, 1946. Sealed to his high school sweetheart, Linda R Woodward, in the Salt Lake Temple. Served in National Guard, and graduated from the U of U with his MBA in Finance. Lee worked for Exxon for 37 years before his retirement in the fall of 2006 when he returned to Utah. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lee honored his priesthood and served diligently in numerous capacities in the church, touching the lives of those he served by lending a helping hand and magnifying his callings. The greatest impact he had of all was that on his family. He was a wonderful father with a deep love and interest for his wife and children. He felt that anything worth doing was worth doing well. This was exemplified by the honorable life he led. He will be greatly missed.

Lee is survived by his wife, Linda, their six children, Jill Sorensen (Kevin), Kris Baer (Rob), Jackie Lowe (Randy), Ryan Seager (Jen), Craig Seager (Melissa), Stephanie Taylor (Isaac); his brothers, Phil (Heidi), and Mick; and 21 1/2 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Alpine Cove Ward Chapel, 1125 E Alpine Blvd. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N, American Fork and Thursday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services.
