SPANISH FORK — A 21-year-old man was life-flighted after rolling his vehicle in Spanish Fork Canyon early Tuesday morning.

Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Cameron Roden said the man was driving east on U.S. 6 in the canyon around 8:19 a.m. when he lost control of his blue Chevy pickup, which rolled. The truck knocked down a power line, and the man was ejected from the vehicle. Roden said the man was not wearing his seat belt.

The man was life-flighted to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, Roden said. The man suffered head trauma and other injuries.

The rollover knocked out power for a while, Roden said, but Rocky Mountain Power crews were able to restore it later in the day.

Roden said they are still uncertain what exactly caused the rollover.
