Caryle Jeanne Crockett Young

"No cold babies on my watch!"

Caryle was welcomed into her Heavenly Father's arms on Saturday, May 10, 2008.Born April 4, 1929 in Salt Lake City, to Luther H and Blanche Harvey Crockett. Married her sweetheart, Richard Bryan Young, Sept. 8, 1948. Sealed March 10, 1993 in the Jordan River Temple. Mom was an exemplary member of the LDS church. She loved to serve others and was a true humanitarian, hand quilting and donating thousands of quilts to those in need. She served 18 years as a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple being the first Sat. supervisor, making many wonderful friends. Mom loved the gospel and was always true to its teachings. She loved and served her children, grand-children, and great-grandchildren.

Survived by her brother Ron, children, Rick (Lillie, deceased), Dee (Tami), Sue (Larry) Wilson, Doug (Jennifer), 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, brother Kenny, sister Marlene and grandson Riley. Our thanks to Yolanda and Regina from Care Source for loving care of our mother. Mom adored you both.

Services will be Thurs., May 15 at 11 a.m. Midvale 8th Ward, 320 W. Princeton Dr. (8350 S). Viewing Wed., May 14, 6-8 p.m., at Larkin Sunset Gardens located at 10600 S. 1950 E. and Thurs. 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to funeral at ward. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
