Maurine Tippetts Lott

Maurine T. Lott, 84, passed away on May 12, 2008 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah, after an eight year battle with cancer.She was born March 20, 1924 in Benjamin, Utah, to Orlan Alva and Della Ludlow Tippetts. She attended school in Benjamin and graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1942. She was married to Wayne Frank Lott in Salt Lake City on Feb. 14, 1959.
An avid golfer, she played for many years in a ladies group, during which time she made three holes in one. She was an active member of the 49ers group and loved taking trips to Wendover.
She worked all her life. Was a very independent woman, who spent her life helping everyone else.
She is survived by a brother, Thelo Tippetts of Idaho; a niece, DeEtte
Peterson, and great-nephew, Brian Peterson of Salt Lake City; many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Verla Peterson, and three brothers, Marvin Tippetts, Calvin Tippetts, and Royal Tippetts.
There will be a graveside service at the Benjamin Cemetery on Sat., May 17th at 2 p.m.
