Paul Clark Fawson

ST. GEORGE, UTAH- Paul Clark Fawson, 79, passed away Sun., May 11, 2008, of causes incident to age.
He was born March 11, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Paul Purdy Fawson and Lu Ratcliffe Clark. He married Rosemary Karen Lucas on August 28, 1950, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He was raised in Salt Lake City until the age of 19. He served a mission for the LDS Church in the Central Pacific Mission and loved to share his mission experiences with his family. He served faithfully in his church callings throughout his life, including three missions with his wife. His professional career included a lifelong commitment to educating children through teaching and administrative leadership. He was known for his hard work, his commitment to family and his love for the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was respected by associates and all that knew him as a man of great integrity and honor. In his spare time, he loved to read, fish, hunt, garden, sing, and spend time with his family.
His greatest accomplishment in life was as a husband and father to 12 children.
He is survived by his wife,
Rosemary Karen Fawson of St. George, Utah; and children, Paul Clark Jr. (Lynette), Peter Charles (Marla), Ruth Karen Johnson (Dee), Philip Clifford (Linda), Parker
Conrad (Debra), Christopher (Christa), Robyn Kathryn Johnson (Bryan), Robert Alma (April),
Elizabeth Ann Kuntz (Bryan), Sara Lu Jones (Walt), Rosemary Olson (Brent), Abraham Elias. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Lowell (Pat) and sister, LuRae Riley (Dave). At the time of his passing he had 91 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ruth.
Funeral services will be held on Sat., May 17, 2008, 1 p.m. at the 26th Ward building at 86 S. 400 E., St. George. A visitation will be held Friday, May 16, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at the Spilsbury Mortuary. Interment will take place in the St. George City Cemetery following the funeral services. Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, UT (435) 673-2454.
