With a 12 million-vote spread, LDS finalist David Archuleta
did not win the crown.
It was a close race, and if it had to be someone other than Archuleta, it went to the right finalist.
But why didn't it go to Archuleta? Whether he is the crown holder or not, Archuleta will always be our "American Idol."While it was the greatest finale ever — how could it not be with such a start-studded night — some fans went home disappointed when it was
finalist David Cook's named that was called out at the end of the night.
