Steve Vincent has joined BNA Consulting as a project manager. A current member of the West Valley City Council, Vincent previously worked for the LDS Church's Architectural & Engineering division for more than 23 years as a designer and senior technician on temple, seminary and meeting house standard designs.

Aimee Altizer has joined Talisker Club as pastry chef. She has more than 15 years of experience. She previously was the pastry chief for a resort and spa in Midway.

Jon Sebba has joined Nolte Associates Inc. as an associate. Sebba has more than 27 years of experience in civil engineering. He is an engineering manager and water forum leader in Salt Lake City.

Daniel Odom has been named manager of the Kimball Junction branch of Mountain American Credit Union. Odom has worked at Mountain America for six years, most recently as the assistant manager at the Holladay office.

Dr. Edward Ashwood has been named chief executive officer of ARUP Laboratories. He succeeds Dr. Carl R. Kjeldsberg, the company co-founder, on July 1, 2009. Ashwood, director of laboratories and chief medical officer, has been with ARUP for 22 years and has been a member of its executive management team for the past 12 years. He is a tenured professor of pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine and is board certified in clinical and chemical pathology.

Travis Ogden has been promoted to senior director of accounting and corporate controller and Theda Petilos has been named director of recognition and leadership development at XanGo LLC. Glen Oliver has been named country manager for Canada and Ryan Anderson has been named country manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines. Ogden will continue to serve as the current co-chairman for the President's Team, a group of executives from multiple company departments that advise President Kent Wood on strategic business decisions. His education includes degrees from the University of Utah. In two years at XanGo, Petilos has served as the company's senior sales manager for North America. Prior to joining XanGo, she was vice president of a private capital company and owned her own mortgage brokerage firm. Oliver previously oversaw the Australia and New Zealand markets for XanGo. He has more than 16 years' experience in the direct-sales industry. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University. Anderson retains his management over the Philippines market. Prior to his new appointment, Anderson also oversaw Hong Kong operations for XanGo. He has been with the company for more than three years.

Roger Young has been named chief executive officer and Rena Andrus has been named the director of operations of MyAnswering.com. Young was hired as the sales manager 16 months ago and also has served as director of sales and marketing. Young, with a degree from the University of Utah, has more than 25 years of executive management experience. Andrus was originally hired as a receptionist and was later promoted to floor manager and then operations manager.

April Harrison, Rochelle Davis and Nancy Kennedy have been promoted at United Way of Salt Lake. Harrison has been promoted to young leaders coordinator, responsible for building membership and financial investments in United Way of Salt Lake's Young Leaders, a group dedicated to civic engagement and philanthropy. Davis has been promoted to resource development assistant. Kennedy has been promoted to corporate relations director, developing partnerships with businesses and organizations supporting the agency through workplace giving campaigns and corporate sponsorships.

Rich Thorn has been named chairman of the Executive Leadership Council and a member of the 2008 executive board for the Associated General Contractors of America. Thorn is the first Utahn named to this position in the AGC of America's 90-year history. He is president and CEO of AGC of Utah. As chairman of the ELC, Thorn will oversee a group of association members throughout the nation whose mission is to provide continuous and timely professional development, networking opportunities and leadership skills through effective facilitation and strategic thinking for the construction industry.

Gary Sievers is a new project manager at McNeil Engineering, over land planning and development services. Thorn has experience in urban planning, land planning and landscape architecture.

Louis Evaga has been promoted by Scotttrade to manage its Orem branch office. Evaga is responsible for branch operations, managing personnel and providing customer service. Evaga has nine years of experience in the financial services industry and has a degree from the University of Utah.

Robert Rudman has been appointed chief financial officer of Diatect International Corp. A managing director for Aspen Capital Partners, Rudman has more than 30 years of experience in accounting and financial management positions and has served as chief financial officer, chief executive officer and chairman of the board of several publicly listed companies.

A. Koya Noe has been appointed vice president of marketing at Zyto Corp. She previously was a division director at another company. She also has experience as an analyst and specialist in health-care equities and portfolio management.

Susan Gray has joined Mindshare Technologies as director of marketing. Gray brings more than 15 years of experience to the position. She will be responsible for coordinating all marketing efforts, including implementation and measurement of all integrated marketing programs. She will also be involved in the day-to-day management of Mindshare's sales initiatives, lead generation and market strategies.

Drs. Robert Rubens, Margaret Yu and Andrew Beelen and James DeMarco have been named to positions at Myriad Genetics Inc. Rubens is vice president of medical affairs. He previously was executive medical director for another company and was U.S. medical director for another. He also had a 17-year career in clinical adult neurology, during which time he was also a clinical associate professor of neurology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. DeMarco is vice president of sales for Myriad Pharmaceuticals Inc. He joins Myriad from another pharmaceuticals company, where he was vice president of U.S. sales. Yu is director of clinical research in oncology. She previously was assistant professor in the Department of Hematology at the University of Utah. Beelen is senior director of clinic research in infectious diseases. He most recently was director of clinical pharmacology and discovery medicine for another company.
