Lyle J. Peterson, 72, passed away June 11, 2008 from heart ailments. He was born October 18, 1935 to James O. Peterson and Wreda F. Oveson in Columbia, Utah.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughters, Pamela Carroll and

Debbie (Jerone) Richards; son, Steve (Kelli) Peterson; sister, Linda (Clair) Davis; brother, Jim (Betty) Peterson; and beautiful, talented grandchildren, Steven, Dallas, Dalton; Riley, Olivia, Savannah, Preston, Shania, and London. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clive.

"Lyle was a U of U graduate and worked throughout the country on many large engineering projects. Lyle was a genius. He had great moxie, pizzazz, and charisma. The whole world will miss him. This was written by Lyle." His family adds in seriousness that Lyle had many friends and talents. He loved playing the harmonica, banjo, ukulele, and guitar. He will be remembered for his love of sports, sense of

humor, and generosity.

At Lyle's request, no viewing or

funeral services will be held. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon in his honor on Saturday, June 28, 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Church on 9800 South Flint Drive (1125 East). Online condolences may be
