Wahneta Grace Buckley Jeppson

1926 ~ 2008

The life of Wahneta Grace Buckley Jeppson, wife of Roy Jeppson, was filled with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wahneta and Roy were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.On June 16, 2008 Wahneta lost her battle with diabetes and heart disease and peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving husband and family at Crosland's Rehabilitation Center. Wahneta was a long time resident of Magna, Utah where she owned a thriving business, The Stylette Beauty Salon, and raised her three children, David (Lorraine) Goodsell, St. George, UT; Peggy Garcia, Oceanside, CA; and Suzanne (Steve) Bird, Grand Junction, CO.

Wahneta was born on August 10, 1926 to Samuel and Rose Buckley in Providence, UT where she was one of eight children.

Her life passions included sewing and quilting and sharing the results with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Sewing Guild, Magna Chapter. She is remembered by her friends and family as someone who was generous and would share her time and talents with everyone. She will be missed by everyone whose life was blessed by knowing her.

She is survived by her husband, a brother, three children, seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

The children of Wahneta want to express their heart felt appreciation to Earl Jeppson and Janeal Freeman for their Christ-like devotion to our mother and to the Hospice staff; our gratitude for the respect and dignity shown our mother.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, and where friends and family may call 10-11 one hour prior to services. Interment: Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
