Ward H. Johnson, 84, was called home June 18, 2008 of complications due to old age.Born Oct. 20, 1923 in Delta, UT as ninth child of Abner and Laura

Johnson. His father died when he was almost five. Learned early in life importance of hard work to help his mother keep farm going, which he worked his entire life. Married

Bonnie Jean Conk, Dec. 28, 1943 in Deseret, UT. They enjoyed 65 wonderful years together on Johnson Homestead, raising everything from cows, sheep, pigs, horses to sugar beets. A state brand inspector for 30 years. Loved racing in chariot races, supporting the Delta Livestock Auction, and he always had a dog by his side.
