So You Think You Can Dance (8 p.m., Ch. 13): Two of the remaining 18 finalists will be eliminated. And four contestants with Utah ties (Chelsie Hightower, Thayne Jasperson, Gev Manoukian and Matt Dorame) remain in the running.
Fear Itself (9 p.m., Ch. 5): After two men — a husband/father and a serial killer — have near-death experiences, they awaken in each other's body.
Swingtown (9 p.m., Ch. 2): Susan tries to repair her friendship with Janet, but Trina gets in the way.
MVP: He Shoots, She Scores (midnight, SoapNet): As you might guess because this is on SoapNet, it's a soap opera. It's the hockey equivalent of Footballers' Wives, with lots of studly hockey players and the women they're involved with. Also not surprisingly, it's an import from Canada. (The 10 episodes aired earlier this year on CBC, which then canceled the series.)
In the opener, a sudden and unexpected death shakes up a lot of lives. Episodes air weekly on SoapNet (in a variety of time slots); the premiere even airs Friday at 9 p.m. on ABC (Ch. 4).
