KOSY (FM-106.5) is the latest station to lose one of its on-air personalities.
Candace Holdaway left the station late last week, leaving Scott Fisher without a morning co-host.
According to Fisher's blog at www.KOSY.com, she left of her own accord.
"How do I begin to describe the experience of working at KOSY?" Holdaway wrote on the blog. "I loved it. It was truly the best job I've ever had. So, why am I leaving? Am I crazy? Maybe. If being a full-time mom makes me crazy, so be it. Some days I'm sure I'll wish I could've stayed with KOSY, if just to have some contact with other adults. But for now my audience will be my two boys, 4-year-old Tyler and 5-month-old Elijah, and my husband Eddie, of course. Not very glamorous. But extremely precious. ..."
Fisher wrote that he'll miss Candace and described her as "an intelligent, down-to-earth, warm human being, with a mischievous sense of humor."
The show, now billed as "Fisher and Friends," airs 5:30-9 a.m. weekdays.
KOSY has had trouble keeping morning personalities in recent years. Fisher and Candace have been on KOSY less than eight months. Kelly Monson and Erica Hansen both left the station last summer.
