Sen. Lyle Hillyard, R-Logan, and Gary Cornia, the new dean of Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management, will be the featured speakers at the Tax-Free Fund of Utah's annual meeting, set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rice-Eccles Stadium's Varsity Room on the sixth floor.
The speakers will discuss Utah's economy, changes in Utah's state income tax and the local municipal bond market. The meeting is open to the public.
The Tax-Free Fund for Utah is the only municipal-bond mutual fund in the state that invests solely in municipal securities issued by state, county and community agencies to provide Utah shareholders with income that is exempt from both state and federal taxes.
