BYU made its fourth straight NCAA regionals appearance, this time traveling to North Carolina to compete against North Carolina, Campbell and Georgia. The Cougars reached the regional final against the Bulldogs. ... Christina Gwyn-Trice, Kristin Delahoussaye, Daniela Snow, Angeline Quiocho, and Amanda Vance all are named to the 2008 All-Mountain West Conference team, with Delahoussaye being named Freshman of the Year. ... Gwyn-Trice deals a no-hitter against Campbell in the NCAA tournament. ... The Cougars recorded their fourth consecutive 40-plus win season. ... BYU won its regular-season finale against New Mexico to finish in second place in the MWC.
