At one time the state's top gang target, Eddie Angelo Samora will spend the next 125 months in a federal prison after pleading guilty to carjacking and brandishing a firearm.

Samora, 22, was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court for stealing a car at gunpoint in Rose Park last year.

In May of 2007, Samora was named Public Enemy No. 1 by the Salt Lake Metro Gang Unit after police said Samora shot another man in the shoulder while driving on I-215.
