Sharon Haddock, who reviewed SCERA's production of "Pride and Prejudice" (Aug. 5), must have had a bad-hair day when she attended the opening of the first-ever performance of this ne
w show. Her assessment was brutal. My husband and I went the second night and found the show to be delightful. We marveled that the music and script of such a complicated story would be tackled for a stage production by Andersen and Morris. Their work is commendable. Reviewers should give credit where it is due and consider all the hours that have been spent by so many people to produce such a show.
Participants need praise, not criticism.
