"Aida," the hit Broadway musical with music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice, opens in both Orem and Ogden this week. The Tony Award-winning musical is a story about a love triangle between Princess Amneris, soldier Radames and Nubian slave Aida.
"Aida," Tuesday through Nov. 22, Hale Center Theater Orem, 225 W. 400 North, Orem, stars Lita Little Giddins and Josephine Scere as Aida; Greg Hansen and Darick Pead as Radames; and Nikki Bohne and Korianne Orton-Johnson as Amneris.

"Dial M" is based on the "film noir" genre of the '40s and '50s, capturing the atmosphere of classic mystery films. BYU's stage version stars Murphy Smith, Jenny Latimer, Andrew Beenstra and Benjamin King.

Set in a Catholic school in the early '60s, the school is dealing with the changed nature of Catholicism and one sister's concern about Father Flynn's informal behavior with a young male student.
