OGDEN — Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton has been appointed to serve on the NCAA Men's Basketball Committee, the NCAA announced this week.

Fullerton is the first Big Sky Conference commissioner or athletics director selected to serve on the 10-person committee, which selects the men's 65-team tournament field and decides future tournament sites.

"Serving on this committee is something that I've been interested in for several years," Fullerton said. "I realize it will be a time-consuming process, but I'm looking forward to the challenge of working on this prestigious team."
