TAYLORSVILLE — Police are looking for a two men who they say held up two folks during a home invasion robbery late Thursday night.
At approximately 9 p.m. the intruders entered a home near 5700 South and 3100 West through an open garage door, Taylorsville Police Sgt. Dan Moriarty said.
After the two men made contact with two people inside the home, "they held the people at gunpoint and demanded money and jewelry," Moriarty said.
The victims did not have jewelry, but there was money in the house and the men took it, according to the sergeant.
The men, both believed to be Caucasian, fled the area in a silver Mercedes-Benz, Moriarty said.
But it wouldn't be the only time a luxury vehicle was used in get-away this week in that area.
Two restaurants, one at 4200 W. 5200 South and one at 3800 W. 5400 South, were robbed by men in a black BMW Friday, Moriarty said.
Moriarty said he didn't know if the incidents were related and said he has no suspects at this time.
Anyone with information about any of the crimes is encouraged to call police at 801-840-4000.
