BYU football camp report

Day 6: Friday marked the first two-a-days of fall camp. The morning practice was open to the public, and more than 1,100 fans showed up to watch the Cougars. Wide receiver McKay Jacobson's impressive catches wowed the crowd, while third-string quarterback Riley Nelson enjoyed his best day of fall camp, completing all four of his pass attempts. The afternoon practice was changed to the Indoor Practice Facility due to inclement weather, and it was closed to the public due to fire code restrictions for occupancy in the building.

Injuries: Starting left guard Jason Speredon will miss the entire season with a torn rotator cuff.

Next: The Cougars will hold their first scrimmage today at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
