Gunman kills 3 brothers near home
MENOMONIE, Wis. (AP) — A gunman opened fire on a group of people outside a trailer home in western Wisconsin, killing three brothers before critically wounding himself, police said Sunday.

Man falls 30 feet through sidewalk
NEW YORK (AP) — A man plunged 30 feet through a rusted-out metal plate on a New York City sidewalk as he stepped outside an Off-Track Betting Parlor to smoke a cigar.
Vincent Riggio was rescued by firefighters with just cuts and bruises Saturday afternoon. The 59-year-old businessman had apparently stepped on a corroded plate that was holding doors in place over a TriBeCa clothing-store cellar. A deliveryman called 911 and Riggio called his wife from the bottom of the cellar.
His wife Joann told the New York Post her husband said he fell through a hole — about 30 feet. When help arrived, a firefighter was lowered by rope down the hole and helped fit a harness around Riggio.
Olympian Kurt Angle facing charges
MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. (AP) — Pro wrestler and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle has been arrested on charges of possessing a human growth hormone and violating an order of protection in suburban Pittsburgh.
Angle was arrested about 7:50 a.m. Saturday in a Robinson Township strip mall parking lot. His girlfriend, who said she obtained a protection order about 11/2 hours earlier after the two fought Friday night, alleged that he had circled the lot staring at her as she sat in a coffee shop, according to a police affidavit.
Police said they found the human growth hormone Hygetropin in Angle's car, and the wrestler told them he had a prescription for the drug.
Angle, 40, was charged with violating the order of protection, harassment, possession of drugs and paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.
2 arrested in killing over line-cutting
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A dispute over line-cutting at a roadside food stand led to the shooting death of a bystander and the serious injury of another man, Tampa police said.
Police arrested two men in the case Friday, Juan Martinez-Morales, 20, and Leeching-Hong Luberisse, 18.
Both were booked into jail Saturday on charges of second-degree murder, attempted murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to Hillsborough County jail records.
It's unclear who cut in line. But on Aug. 8, Luberisse punched Eriberto Reyes, 27, while waiting at a vendor's food cart that was set up on Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa police reported. Martinez-Morales then pulled a gun.
