OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma pushed across a run in the bottom of the 11th inning, as the RedHawks edged Salt Lake 2-1 to complete a four-game series sweep of the Bees.
After Salt Lake had the bases loaded in the top of the inning, Bees' reliever Francisco Rodriguez (4-3) walked the first two RedHawks in the bottom of the 11th.
Max Ramirez flied to center to advance the runners to second and third before Jose Vallejo singled through a pulled-in infield to bring home Royce Huffman with the winning run.
Salt Lake grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first on Terry Evans' 25th home run of the season and held that advantage until Oklahoma City tied the game with an unearned run in the seventh.
That spoiled a solid effort by Bees' starter Mike MacDonald, who worked six innings and allowed just one hit and no runs with six strikeouts and four walks.
Evans and Reggie Willits each had two hits to lead the Bees, who open a four-game series at New Orleans tonight.
