KSL airs diverse views

A recent letter writer expressed his disdain that KSL radio would air Sean Hannity (Readers' Forum, July 26), then he states that KSL is the "spokesstation" for the LDS Church.

KSL is owned by the LDS Church but primarily airs commentary of diverse opinion. As listeners, we have the option to turn the radio dial if we do not agree with a host — and I have favorites scattered along the dial.

Hannity has raised $100 million through his freedom concerts to provide Freedom Alliance Scholarships for children who have a parent disabled or killed in the military. He is also involved in multiple humanitarian efforts for military families.

I wish to thank KSL for airing Hannity and allowing yet another point of view in our political discussion.
