So President Barack Obama opposes the Defense of Marriage Act, yet continues to pour government resources into defending it because it is — hello — the duly enacted law.

In other words, we have a president who understands he is sworn to uphold the law as it is, not as he wishes it to be.

What a blast of fresh air after President George W. Bush's Constitution-despising "signing statements."

True conservatives everywhere will rejoice.
