Neighbors, friends and lovers of ice cream are invited to the Mt. Olympus North Stake 10th Ward 50th Ice Cream Social on Aug. 26 at 7 p.m.The annual event is held at the south end of Fleetwood Drive and lasts approximately two hours.Residents are invited to bring their best homemade ice cream, which will be judged and the makers awarded prizes.Generally, 200 to 300 people attend.There are games for youngsters, a fish pond, face painting, clowns and balloons.
