Les Bailey has joined Miller and Co. Real Estate as a realtor. Bailey has more than 36 years of experience as a sales associate.

Neil Mason has been promoted to general manager at Z'Tejas. Mason has been with the restaurant since 2005 as an assistant and beverage manager. During the past five years, he has been the assistant to the general manager, handling all front-of-the-house operations. His career in the food industry began in 1997.

Michael R. Johnson and David Henry Leigh have joined the law firm of Ray Quinney & Nebeker. Johnson, a shareholder, joined RQ&N as the firm's Bankruptcy Section chairman. He most recently was a shareholder with another law firm in Salt Lake City, where he represented corporations in bankruptcy and commercial-litigation matters. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Leigh, of counsel, also joins RQ&N's Bankruptcy Section. He practiced as an associate with the same law firm as Johnson prior to joining RQ&N, and his practice is concentrated on bankruptcy, with an emphasis in business reorganizations, creditor rights and general commercial litigation.

Evin Catlett has joined Richter7 as a public-relations account manager. She previously was an associate publicist at a public-relations agency in New York City. She also has experience as a trade-event and primary public-relations coordinator.

Amy Steinbrech and Suzanne Davis have been appointed as public-relations managers and Anne Burbidge and Fred Klimt have been appointed as public-involvement specialists at Wilkinson Ferrari & Co. Steinbrech's role at WF&Co. will focus on planning and implementing communication activities for transportation-related projects for certain clients. Steinbrech has 14 years of experience in public relations and public involvement. Most recently, she was the outreach officer for an educational-savings plan and a marketing and communications specialist for a consulting company. Her education includes a degree from Westminster College. As an account manager specializing in media relations, Davis has worked on several consumer and financial accounts. Prior to joining WF&Co., Davis worked in public relations for two years in New York City. Her education includes a degree from Brigham Young University. Burbidge works on various accounts, and her education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Klimt works on various transportation projects. He previously worked in public relations at another company. Klimt's education includes degrees from Utah Valley University and the University of Utah.

Rich Hyde has been named executive vice president of operations at Prestige Financial Services Inc. Hyde will oversee loan servicing, operations policy and client special situations. He previously was the company's senior vice president of portfolio management. He joined Prestige in 2002, prior to which he was a division vice president of collection's for a national bank's mortgage operations. He has 16 years of experience in collections and asset recovery in the subprime market.

Chris Hatch, Jake Olson and Joe Cooley have co-founded Mountain West Retail Property Services, a commercial real estate company based in Salt Lake City. Hatch is a third-generation real estate professional, with broker licenses in Utah and Idaho. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Olson's education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Colley has broker licenses in Utah and Montana, and his education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Brian Hobbs has been promoted to president/retail operations leader at First Utah Bank. His career with the bank began nine years ago as a customer-service representative. Since then, he has held several positions, including branch banking officer and assistant branch manager.

John Johnson has joined Red Ledges as golf-club general manager. He was appointed through Troon Golf to manage the club. Johnson has more than 18 years of golf-operations experience, most recently as the general manager and director of a club in Florida.

Dr. William T. Couldwell has been named secretary of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He will serve a three-year term as secretary. He has served on the organization's board of directors since 2006 as a director-at-large. He is chairman of both the development committee and the editorial board of the association's peer-reviewed socioeconomic publication "AANS Neurosurgeon." He currently is professor and Joseph J. Yager Chair of the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He previously was professor and chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery at New York Medical College.

John Christoffersen has joined Telesphere as indirect channel manager for the Salt Lake City market. He will be responsible for recruiting agency partners to resell Telesphere products and services and will oversee agent training and support. He has more than 12 years of experience in telecommunications, most recently as business-development manager at another company.

Gary Kahl has joined Infopia as vice president of professional services. He will be in charge of developing and executing strategic plans, integrations and management services for Infopia's e-commerce platform and its community of online retailers. Kahl has more than 25 years of experience in retail technology-solutions management. For the past four years, he worked with product and retail clients as a consultant to several corporations. He also has executive experience at four other companies.
