Michael R. Johnson and David Henry Leigh have joined the law firm of Ray Quinney & Nebeker. Johnson, a shareholder, joined RQ&N as the firm's Bankruptcy Section chairman. He most recently was a shareholder with another law firm in Salt Lake City, where he represented corporations in bankruptcy and commercial-litigation matters. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Leigh, of counsel, also joins RQ&N's Bankruptcy Section. He practiced as an associate with the same law firm as Johnson prior to joining RQ&N, and his practice is concentrated on bankruptcy, with an emphasis in business reorganizations, creditor rights and general commercial litigation.

Burbidge works on various accounts, and her education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Klimt works on various transportation projects. He previously worked in public relations at another company. Klimt's education includes degrees from Utah Valley University and the University of Utah.
Rich Hyde has been named executive vice president of operations at Prestige Financial Services Inc. Hyde will oversee loan servicing, operations policy and client special situations. He previously was the company's senior vice president of portfolio management. He joined Prestige in 2002, prior to which he was a division vice president of collection's for a national bank's mortgage operations. He has 16 years of experience in collections and asset recovery in the subprime market.

Dr. William T. Couldwell has been named secretary of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He will serve a three-year term as secretary. He has served on the organization's board of directors since 2006 as a director-at-large. He is chairman of both the development committee and the editorial board of the association's peer-reviewed socioeconomic publication "AANS Neurosurgeon." He currently is professor and Joseph J. Yager Chair of the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He previously was professor and chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery at New York Medical College.
