Stephen McCutchan of Sandy took third place in KFC's Chari-T's contest. His T-shirt design is now being sold on KFC.com. Net proceeds from the shirt sales will go to Colonel's Scholars, a charity for underprivileged students. McCutchan received a year's supply of Kentucky Grilled Chicken.

Bank of Utah is inviting local gardeners to donate extra produce in drop-off boxes at two bank branches in Ogden before 9 a.m. on Mondays.

Catholic Community Services volunteers pick up the donations for the Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank in Ogden for distribution to senior citizens. The two bank branches are at 2605 Washington Blvd. and 3990 Washington Blvd. in Ogden.

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream awarded block parties to 30 Utah neighborhoods from Tremonton to Toquerville as part of its Slow Churned Neighborhood Salute contest. More than 28,000 ice-cream lovers nationwide submitted stories to "salute" their neighborhoods, and 1,500 winners were chosen to receive ice cream and fixings for up to 100 partygoers.
