Isn't it a little ironic that Colombia wants to allow an expanded U.S. military presence in the country to ward off the wave of communism sweeping South and Central America? Perhaps the Colombians should invest a little more money on intelligence. Are they unaware that the current ruling party in America has extremely strong collectivist tendencies? Do they know that the Democratic party has been adamantly opposed to the United States signing a free-trade agreement with Colombia?

Any intelligence analyst worth his or her salt might rightly assume that they may be letting the fox into the henhouse.

Unfortunately, the communist "revolution by evolution" is nearly complete in the United States. Perhaps the Colombian military could expand their presence here to defend us.
