Health reform topic at Church of Christ

Interfaith minister the Rev. Nancy Nightingale, Huntsville, will speak at the United Church of Christ Congregational on Sunday, Aug. 30, at the 10:30 worship service on the moral imperative of health reform. The title of the sermon is "Fear, Hope, and Health Justice." Rev. Nightingale spent over 30 years in the field of health care as a critical care nurse, teacher, hospital administrator and insurance company executive.

'Mass on the Grass' is Sunday at the U.

St. Catherine and Newman Center will hold their annual "Mass on the Grass," Sunday, Aug. 30, 7 p.m., on President's Circle, 200 S. University St. This Mass blesses the students, faculty, staff and campus for the coming school year. St. Joseph the Worker Catholic "Folkfest" will be Sept. 11-13 at 7405 S. Redwood Road.

Car show, crafts, entertainment, food, games and outdoor Mass are some of the events planned.
