PHOENIX — Residents opposing the construction of a Mormon Temple in North Phoenix say they have enough signatures to overturn the city council's approval of the project.

Several neighbors who live near 51st Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road formed a political action committee earlier this month, after the council approved the church to be built taller than city zoning laws currently allow.
