RANCHO
SANTA MARGARITA, Ca. — Wet weather earlier this month did not prevent more
than 4,000 people from visiting the Twelfth Annual Living Nativity
hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Rancho
Santa Margarita. Participants dressed up as Mary, Joseph,
angels, wise men and others to tell the story of the Nativity, a
20-minute retelling of Luke 2 from the Bible, said Karen Lake, the

church's media director. Visitors came bundled up and carrying umbrellas to watch the shows performed from Dec. 11-13. More
than 400 nativity scenes from around the world were also displayed
throughout the weekend, Lake said. Church members Judy Goodfellow and
Jennie Turner-Brazel organized the creche, or manger, displays.
