No. 24 CLEMSON 83, No. 10 NORTH CAROLINA 64: At Clemson, S.C., Trevor Booker scored 21 points, Demontez Stitt added 20 and Clemson broke a 10-game losing streak to North Carolina by dealing the Tar Heels their most lopsided ACC loss in almost seven years. The Tigers (14-3, 2-1 ACC) hadn't beaten the Tar Heels (12-5, 1-1) in nearly six years.
VIRGINIA 82, No. 20 GEORGIA TECH 75: At Charlottesville, Va., Sylven Landesberg scored 22 points and Virginia used a 16-4 run late in the second half to surge past Georgia Tech.
NO. 21 MISSISSIPPI 80, GEORGIA 76: At Athens, Ga., Eniel Polynice scored off an inbounds pass to himself with 11.3 seconds remaining, and Mississippi handed Georgia another tough loss.
VIRGINIA TECH 81, No. 23 MIAMI 66: At Blacksburg, Va., Malcolm Delaney had 28 points and a career-high nine assists, and Virginia Tech raced out to a 35-point first-half lead.
