We Utahns need to take a careful look at the thinking of those running for governor. We need not just to hear what they say, but see what they do.
Gary Herbert has worked hard at cutting expenses in state government.
In contrast, Peter Corroon joined district board members in a new tax on already struggling residents and businesses in Salt Lake County. When people are doing the best they can, you don't kick them on their way down!
I don't live in Salt Lake County, but if this would be a potential governor's approach to running our state, I see warning signs that should concern us all.
