Do as I say, not as I do. Two recent articles (Jan. 16) in the Deseret News concerning Salt Lake County Attorney Lohra Miller seem to fit this saying quite well. Concerning the dispute with Kent Morgan, she is quoted as saying, "In my office, I expect the attorneys who work for me to adhere to the highest ethical standards."

In the article on the left-hand side of the same page, concerning hiring of three people laid off from her husband's business, she "insists she has done nothing wrong; she didn't have to advertise the positions because it wasn't legally required."

It really does appear as if Ms. Miller wants to run "her own personal employment service." Changes need to be made in the hiring processes in this office so they will meet Ms. Miller's own statement of "adhering to the highest ethical standards."
