We've recently learned that one can steal $4 million, avoid prison time, keep $3 million-plus and be complimented for your character and ability to serve others in the community.

Such is the case with Mr. and Mrs. Ross.

Susan Ross and her husband stole from children in the Davis School District. This was not a one-time event but occurred over a five-year period. After charges were filed, Mr. and Mrs. Ross claimed innocence. More taxpayer monies were spent on prosecuting them. "Deal-making" activities began. Eventually final court dates arrive with "plea deals" announced and acknowledgement of guilt. We needed a judicial decision. Wow, that judicial decision was a whopper. School children and taxpayers were ignored, monies were not recovered and both Mr. and Mrs. Ross remain free.

Final thought: impeachment for judge Clark Waddoups. Write your elected officials.
