Decade isn't over yet

The Deseret News editorial staff proclaims the decade has ended (Opinion, Dec. 31).

Excuse me, but I beg to differ. Nine full years have come and gone since the year 2000 was ushered in. Do the math. We have another full year until we close out the current decade.
