WEST JORDAN — Police here were investigating the suspicious death of a woman found in a home early Wednesday.
West Jordan police received a call about midnight from some people who were with the victim on Sunday and concerned about her, saying she might be sick, said West Jordan Police Sgt. Dan Roberts.
Investigators secured a search warrant about 2 a.m. for the house at 7050 S. 1300 West. Inside, they found a deceased female.
Roberts did not release any information about the woman Wednesday morning pending notification of family members, only saying that she was a younger woman.
"We just identified who she is. We're just starting our investigation," he said. "I don't know if she even lives here."
A cause of death was unknown Wednesday morning.
