MURRAY — A man robbed a Pizza Hut restaurant at gunpoint Thursday, according to police.

The man entered the restaurant, 5575 S. 900 East, at about 9:25 p.m. and brandished a gun before demanding money, said Murray Police Sgt. Erik Lindquist.

Employees handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. The man, described as a white male in his 20s with a medium build, fled on foot.

Officers from multiple jurisdictions responded to the call, but were unable to find the suspect, despite using K-9s in an effort to track him, Lindquist said.

Anyone with information about the case should call the Murray Police Department at 801-264-2673.
