BEREA, Ohio — Browns coach Eric Mangini will wait until later this week before deciding whether Jake Delhomme or rookie Colt McCoy will start at quarterback Sunday in Cincinnati (2-11).
Delhomme had a rough game in Buffalo, but Mangini said the 13-6 loss to the Bills was "not all on Jake by any stretch." Mangini wants to see how McCoy's injured ankle is progressing before considering a possible switch. If McCoy isn't 100 percent, Mangini said he will stick with Delhomme over Seneca Wallace, who took two snaps on Sunday for the Browns (5-8).
Wallace made four starts earlier this season before injuring his ankle. He expressed his frustration Monday by saying, "I can't do much on the sideline."
McCoy was Cleveland's No. 3 quarterback on Sunday. He hasn't played since Nov. 21 because of a high ankle sprain.
