Mary Sue Dutson and Emily Dutson "Willed be Missed"

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Mary Sue Chapman Dutson passed away suddenly on December 17, 2010 from involvement in an automobile accident. Emily Ann Dutson, our loving daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, and friend, also passed away peacefully on December 23, 2010 due to injuries sustained in the accident. Mary Sue was born on January 3, 1961 to Spenst Gale & Verna Chapman in Price, Utah. Mary Sue graduated from Emery County High School in 1979 and from Snow College in 1981. After serving an LDS mission to Cleveland Ohio, Mary Sue completed a Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education from USU. Mary Sue married Gary Lee Dutson on March 17, 1984 in the Salt Lake temple. Mary Sue & Gary are the parents of 5 children. They have resided in Lynndyl, Utah since 1985. Mary Sue was a very compassionate person. She was very creative and loved crafts, writing poetry, and playing with her grandson Ryley. Mary Sue loved the Lord and devoted her life to serving her family. Emily was born on November 27, 1989 to Gary & Mary Sue Dutson in Nephi, Utah. Emily graduated from Delta High School in 2008 and from Snow College in 2010. Emily was pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science at USU and had received a call to serve in the Toronto Ontario East LDS mission. Emily was a loving woman who touched uncountable lives. She loved writing poems, making friends, and spending time with family, especially her nephew Ryley. Emily has touched our lives forever. We are sure Emily and Mary Sue are now serving as companions on a mission in heaven. We love them both very much and we will always miss them. Mary Sue and Emily are survived by: husband and father Gary; children and siblings Andrew (Katie), and Matthew; grandson and nephew Ryley; parents and grandparents Gale & Verna Chapman; Emily's grandmother Beverly; and Mary Sue's siblings Gregg (Denise) Chapman and Danette Houston. They are preceded in death by: infant children and brothers David & Daniel; sister and aunt Chandra Callister; Emily's grandfather Floyd Eddie; Mary Sue's three infant brothers; and their infant niece and cousin Chaliece Callister. Combined funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leamington Chapel (90 S Center). Viewings will be held on Monday from 6-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9-10:30 a.m. in the same building. Interment will be in the Oak City Cemetery. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com.
