Margaret Arsenault 1922 ~ 2010

ST. GEORGE, UT - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on December 26, 2010 at the age of 88.She was born November 5, 1922 in West Jordan, Utah to Simon Ray and Murl Rigby Hibbard. She was raised in Salt Lake City and graduated from South High School in 1940. During World War II, she worked for several years at the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. She met her husband, Eugene, during the War and they were married in National City, California on June 29, 1946. They were later sealed in the LDS Los Angeles Temple. She lived for many years in the San Diego, California area, and more recently in Bountiful, Center-ville and St. George, Utah. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings in her Ward Sunday School, Primary and Relief Society organizations. She also served as an ordinance worker in the Los Angeles and Bountiful Temples, as a Temple Square tour guide and, along with her husband, as a Church Service Missionary for the Church's Auditing Department. During her 64 years of marriage, Margaret was always very considerate of her husband and children. Her immediate and extended family were her primary concerns. She always had a pleasant smile for everyone with whom she became acquainted. She is survived by her husband, Eugene, and two sons, James (Farmington, UT) and Daniel (Los Angeles, CA). Also surviving her are five grandchildren and six great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, her two sisters, and her brother. Funeral services will be held at Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunset LDS 7th Branch Chapel of the St. George, Utah Sunset Stake, located at 415 N. Westridge Dr. (1450 W.)
