PITTSBURGH — Ben Roethlisberger is walking around with a large bandage on his broken nose and a protective boot on his painfully injured right foot.

No wonder that when Mario Lemieux saw him, the Penguins' co-owner told Roethlisberger he looked like a hockey player.

Roethlisberger needs a protective shield to protect a nose that so splintered when he was smacked by the Ravens' Haloti Ngata, a doctor told him that the bones looked like corn flakes. But he said Wednesday he has no plans to miss Sunday's AFC North game against Cincinnati (2-10), just as he didn't miss a play during Pittsburgh's 13-9 victory in Baltimore that gave the Steelers (9-3) sole possession of first place.

The quarterback has been told him he can do no further damage to his nose by playing. He also said his sprained foot feels better.
