SALT LAKE CITY PacifiCorp Energy has a new president. The company operates electric-generating plants for Rocky Mountain Power and Pacific Power.
Micheal Dunn was appointed to the post in Salt Lake City by Greg Abel, president and chief executive of PacifiCorp.
Dunn will oversee coal, hydroelectric, natural gas, wind and geothermal power plants producing more than 10,000 megawatts of electricity.
He worked his way up through PacifiCorp's pipeline operator Kern River Gas Transmission Co.
Portland, Ore.-based PacifiCorp operates as Rocky Mountain Power in Utah and as Pacific Power in Oregon, Washington and northern California.
