Space pirates invade Salt Lake City's Clark Planetarium

SALT LAKE CITY — Space pirates are invading the Clark Planetarium, 110 S. 400 West, today from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

There will be free events held to highlight the premiere of the Hansen Dome Theatre's most ambitious production to date — "Attack the Space Pirates."

There will be science demonstrations, a treasure hunt and visits by the space pirates.

The new production by the planetarium is mostly a computer-generated movie. The movie costs $6 a person and will show today at 12:20, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.
