Dianne Hoffmann has joined the Keller Williams Westfield Realty 759 Market Center. Hoffman has experience in buying, selling and restoring properties and has been in the real estate industry for 30 years.

Craig Ahrens and Leslie Morton have been appointed principals at Psomas. Ahrens is a professional engineer and land surveyor with 16 years of experience in site development, transportation and transit projects. His expertise is in managing large-scale transportation and development projects. He is a team leader for the Survey Department in Psomas' Salt Lake office and has been with Psomas for 12 years. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Morton is a vice president and regional manager in the Psomas Salt Lake City office. A professional engineer with 16 years of experience in civil engineering, Morton's expertise is in managing large-scale public and private-sector projects. She and has been with Psomas for 12 years. Her education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Micheal Dunn has been name president of PacifiCorp Energy. He comes to the company from Kern River Gas Transmission Co., based in Salt Lake City, where he has served as president since June 2007. MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co. is the parent company of Rocky Mountain Power, PacifiCorp Energy and Kern River. As president of PacifiCorp Energy, Dunn will have responsibility for PacifiCorp's electric generation and energy trading functions and coal mine operations. He held several engineering positions for a natural gas pipeline company in the Midwest and joined Kern River in 1990 as a supervisor/chief inspector for the initial construction of the Kern River pipeline system. During his time with the company, Dunn served in positions including district supervisor; senior engineer; project manager; project director for the Kern River 2003 expansion project; director of operations; director of information technology; and vice president of operations, information technology and engineering.

Jay Nelson has joined Stanley Consultants as a project manager. Nelson has 23 years of experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering and project management. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

Charlyn Russell Sorensen has been selected as a board member of Mountain America Credit Union. Sorensen fills the remaining term of H. Floyd Tanner. Sorensen is a retired employee of the credit union. She began her 24-year career there as a collector, moving up to become the supervisor of the Visa Department and finally as executive assistant to the president. She also served as assistant secretary/recording secretary to the board of directors for 20 years.

Timothy K. Clark has been named a shareholder at the law firm Fabian & Clendenin. Clark has been an associate with the firm since graduating from law school. His areas of practice include litigation, energy and utilities and environment and natural resources. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

David J. Langeland, Benjamin J. Holt and David Farnsworth have been elected officers of the Cyberlaw Section of the Utah State Bar. Langeland, chairman, is an intellectual property attorney at Callister Nebeker & McCullough, where he assists clients in trademarks, copyrights, licensing and general corporate matters. Holt, vice chairman, is an intellectual property attorney at Bateman IP Law Group, where he assists clients in domain name disputes, e-commerce, licensing, patent and trademark litigation, social media, and certain infringement and trade secret matters. Farnsworth, secretary, has been general counsel or deputy general counsel with at an Internet-based family history services company since 1998. He previously worked at a pair of other technology companies, in each case having primarily international responsibilities.

Matti Wilkins has joined Highland Cove Retirement Community as food service director. She has experience in senior dining and food service management.

Todd Medd has been promoted to associate at architectural firm HKS Inc. He has seven years of experience in the industry, including more than four years at HKS. He is a project architect for commercial and hospitality projects in the HKS Salt Lake City office. Medd's education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Michael W. Worel has joined the Salt Lake City office of Parsons Behle & Latimer. Worel has 28 years of catastrophic personal injury trial experience. Most recently, he worked in Alabama.

Brandon Hess has joined Intermountain Financial Group, the Utah agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. (MassMutual), as a financial services adviser. Hess helps individuals, families, and small-business owners with their life insurance and investment needs. He has three years of entrepreneurial experience. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.
