Law society conference Feb. 11-13

SALT LAKE CITY — Stephen R. Covey,

best-selling author and leadership entrepreneur, will speak at 6 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 12, at the annual J. Reuben Clark Law Society Fireside in

the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake City.

Covey's

talk, "Blessed Are the Peacemakers," is free and open to the public.

The fireside will also be broadcast live on the LDS Church satellite

network and later at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The

fireside is part of the three-day J. Reuben Clark Law Society

conference beginning Thursday, Feb. 11, and ending Saturday, Feb. 13.

The conference also features a keynote address Feb. 11 by Elder Lance B. Wickman, of the Quorum of the Seventy and general counsel of the LDS Church. Other presenters include BYU President Cecil O. Samuelson; University of Utah President Michael K. Young; William Atkin, associate general counsel of the LDS Church; R. John Hughes, former editor of the Deseret News; and Richard E. Turley Jr.,
